Rhindex Lang: from intent to verifiable code
A programming language in development that proposes embedding specifications in the program itself: express what a system should do, how it coordinates work, and which rules its implementation must respect.

Keep intent intact through implementation
When requirements live in a document and behavior lives elsewhere, it is hard to spot when code departs from what was requested. With AI assistance, an ambiguous instruction can also become a convincing but incorrect implementation. Rhindex aims to give people and tools an explicit specification they can compare with the program.
Specifications and verification within the language
Its design organizes one system across three levels: domain and rules, coordination flows, and executable code. Types, contracts, and effects aim to make each part’s obligations and boundaries visible. That structure can give AI context: it proposes an implementation, a person reviews it, and tools check the behavior they support. This is the language vision, not a guarantee that any generated code satisfies the entire intent.
From requirement to behavior
As a conceptual scenario, a team could describe who may approve an operation, order its checks, and define the expected result before implementing the function. Rhindex proposes keeping those decisions connected to code and making their rules checkable, rather than relying only on a free-text instruction. This scenario is not presented as an available application.
What exists today
The repository contains a compiler frontend, the rhindexc CLI, pre-execution syntax checks and a subset of type and symbol checks, alongside an experimental runtime and conformance examples. The vision for contracts, effects, levels, and AI assistance is broader than that subset: it is not presented as a complete language or a finished platform.
Explicit limits
Verification covers only implemented capabilities and their tested cases. It does not replace human review or ensure that AI has interpreted a requirement correctly. The official website and documentation are reserved for private access; playground and downloads require authorization, and source code remains private.
